From the outset our solicitor Xen who took my sister and myself through the process was clearly knowledgeable and was in fact razor sharp with his knowledge and opinions. • We had a problem with a scaffolding company which was refusing to dismantle the scaffolding after work on our roof had been done despite repeated requests both directly and via mediation. Then we asked Xen to write an official letter to the said company clearly stating that the scaffolding had to be dismantled within a week or else we’d take immediate action to take it down. It worked, the scaffolding was dismantled by the company within the time specified.

  With his letter Xen achieved in a week what we could not in over a month. That in itself is a positive achievement, but what impressed me most was Xen’s responsiveness when I outlined my problem to him over the phone one Friday morning. On the same day by 1.30 pm we had our 1 hour consultation with him and by 5 pm he had finalised the wording of the letter with us and sent it to the scaffolding company via post and email. He fully appreciated the predicament we were in and, as time was of the essence, he did not hesitate to act quickly while at the same time giving us sound legal advice. Should I need a solicitor in future I would not hesitate to seek the services of Proctor Moore Solicitors.
