Xen Andreou

Solicitor

Xen Andreou is the Founder and Director of Proctor Moore Solicitors, a firm he established in January 2007. With over 21 years of experience as a qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (since 2003), Xen specialises in Civil and Commercial Litigation, Wills & Probate, and Family Law.

Since 2011, he has held Higher Rights of Audience (Civil), allowing him to advocate for clients in Higher Courts without relying on external counsel. Under his leadership, Proctor Moore has earned a strong reputation for clear, results-driven legal advice and a client-focused approach. His commitment to transparency, integrity, and achieving optimal outcomes has been pivotal in the firm’s growth and success—a testament reflected in Proctor Moore’s Google Reviews.

Known for his strategic thinking, meticulous attention to detail, and practical solutions, Xen is frequently described by clients as knowledgeable’, ‘reliable’, and ‘professional’.

Xen began his legal career in 2001 as a trainee, handling Legal Aid cases in contentious housing and family law. He was on call to represent client’s in the County Court in committal proceedings and had to think on his feet in court early on in his career. Upon qualifying, Xen transitioned into private practice focusing on non-contentious matters such as property, contract and probate, while maintaining a keen interest in litigation. By the age of 26, he became the Head of Litigation, and at just 29, he set up Proctor Moore Solicitors.

The firm has always handled both contentious and non-contentious work, including property, probate, contract law, and dispute resolution (excluding immigration). Over time, Xen has refined the firm’s focus on exceptional client care, ensuring clarity from the outset. Xen focuses on providing clients with clear action plans and cost information from the outset.

With a particular interest in high-value and complex claims, Xen regularly represents clients in the County Court and High Court, conducting all types of hearings and trials (Civil and Commercial Litigation). Alongside his litigation work, he dedicates significant effort to ensure his firm maintains high standards.
